Bell Creek Community Pool

The Bell Creek Community pool season runs Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. All HOA members with households in good standing are eligible for membership at the community pool and are required to register all members of their household.

The 2024 pool season requires a re-registration.

To register, follow the registration link. Only bonified household members may be registered, which may require proof of residency.  After the pool season begins, please allow at least 2 business days of registering for approval from the volunteer pool committee and/or our Community Manager (before/after pool season, please allow up to 7 days).  Misuse of registration to register non-residents may result in suspension or revocation of the pool membership for the household.  Guests of your home should use guest passes. Registered caretakers may only check in with children in their care solely - when attending as a family group, guest passes must be used.

Hours of Operation:

  • Bell Creek’s pool schedule has three parts:

    • Pool open while school is in session at the end of the school year

    • Normal summer schedule

    • Pool open while school is back in session at the start of the next school year

If you have an issue with a lifeguard, pool maintenance or pool upkeep please contact our pool management company:

Douglas Aquatics, Inc.

Phone: (804) 232-7665

Website: Douglasaquatics.com

Here’s a consolidated schedule based on the day, or timeframe:

Due to Swim Team home meets, the pool will be closing early at 4PM on the following dates: 6/12, 6/26 & 7/9

If you have questions regarding pool rules or guest passes please contact Community Group at 804-270-1800

Pool Parties:

Residents wishing to have birthday or other parties at the pool must receive approval from the Pool Committee. Contact Community Group at 804-270-1800. You will be asked to provide a date for the party and the number of people attending (it would be helpful if you know the number of swimmers and non-swimmers). Guest passes will be required for swimmers; non-swimming guests do not need a pass. We ask that you limit parties to 10-15 children. Tables cannot be reserved, and your party will be expected to clean up your area when you have finished. Use of the Clubhouse is not permitted; however, the fridge may be used if it is available.

GUEST PASSES:

  • Each household gets an automatic 10 guest passes at the start of the season, free!

  • You may elect to buy an additional 10 guest passes for $30, processed through the registration portal.

  • Lifeguards CANNOT process payments or take cash.

Swim Team

We are a neighborhood swim team serving the Bell Creek and Reserve at Bell Creek communities. Our team swims in the Greater Richmond Aquatic League (GRAL).

Our mission is to build a program of excellence in training, team unity, character development and family support in the Bell Creek community and instill a life-long love of swimming in our youth.

Summer swim teams are made in the winter … and spring! Volunteering off season should be expected. Without our parent volunteers and their commitment to working together, we could not have a swim team. Thank you in advance!

Shelton House Trail

Located at the End of Barbette Court in Bell Creek you will find a hiking trail that leads to a 124 acre Historical Civil War Park Known as the Shelton House and Totopotomoy Creek Battlefield at Rural Plains.

Although the centuries-old house is a major attraction, Richmond National Battlefield Park preserves this property because of the Civil War action that occurred here. A walking trail covering two miles round trip allows you to explore terrain that affected the course of the battle. Original earthworks built by Union infantry cover the north slope of Totopotomoy Creek; a footbridge over the creek provides access to entrenchments and cannon positions built by Confederate defenders on the south bank. On two occasions the men of Francis Barlow’s division (Union Second Corps) attacked down the slope to the creek. The walking trail follows in their footsteps.  It is 1 mile from the top step of the entrance at Barbatte Court to the top step of the Shelton House.
